Is Kelvin Jefferson related to Lenny? They are both from Norwalk and they both have similar Twitter statements.

I couldn’t find anything in either bio.

Re: Time to Start Naming Names...

There's your argument for Jefferson. He's literally coached (at the prep level) players that went to plenty of D1 schools (High Major Schools) AND some are now in the NBA.. in fact plenty have had a taste of professional basketball (whether in the NBA or overseas)... He gets today's kids... one othe...

Re: Time to Start Naming Names...

I have it on decent authority that the 4 names are Sellers, Curran, Sorrentine, and Jefferson. I'm nearly 100% confident on Curran and Sellers, closer to 70% on the other two. I still feel like there's a chance Kinsgley and/or Donnelly remain involved, but I'm just not sure right now. Jefferson is ...

Re: CCSU MBB Coaching Search

I was rooting hard for you guys to look into childhood/neighborhood friend Kelvin Jefferson (now Head Coach at D2 Gannon) because of all he's done and who he coached (at S. Kent, prep school up state, which has produced quite a bit of NBA talent), but I don't think he'd want to come back here for t...

Re: Time to Start Naming Names...

J.J.- you were 1 for 2. Nice job!! Also...Grant Billmeier?! I has floated that name to a media acquaintance before Marshall was officially let go and he kind of laughed at me. I really don't know how you say no to Billmeier. He's a stud who is incredibly respected. Based on another clue, I think I ...

Re: Time to Start Naming Names...

Jeff Jacobs just tweeted an update that did include Donnelley , Kingsley and a few others ... https://twitter.com/jeffjacobs123/status/1383159716214403076 Donnelly, a D2 coach, is CT bread (literally).... I get why he's being considered because of that alone, even though he's D2... BUT, dude is put...

Re: Time to Start Naming Names...

Luke Murray would be cool... he's great friends with the son of a work colleague of mine.. He also went to my kid's alma mater (St Lukes in New Canaan)... That'd be a HUGE pick... BUT, realize this, he's more like a Dan Hurley type... Make his mark and move on.... It'd be a great move, short term th...

Re: Big Board!

Sounds like it's Sellers' job for the taking... Might be a good idea for them to make the announcement already, so the new staff can get some recruiting work done... There's plenty in the transfer portal... this year's recruiting has to be an exception because of it.... and it may work out pretty w...

Re: Time to Start Naming Names...

You can't go wrong either way with either Sellers or Curran.. They both make too much sense here.... That Bonnies A-10 Championship put Curran is a solid spot with you guys... AND, he's been doing this coaching thing primarily at this level of D1 Ball pretty much his entire career.. That's a strong ...

Re: Big Board!

Yikes. In that case, I recant 😳 😞 I would agree, this is going to either Pat or someone with d-1 hc success. It’s kinda killing me, want this done and that person working hard for next season to build his inner team already. Fall time comes quick. Like I've said a million times, Pat Sellers may ver...

Re: Big Board!

good that a young up and coming coach more than likely won't be the choice... You need somebody to stick around and build a foundation... Hurley types never stick around at the lower D1 level... They use these schools to build their resume and then they're gone in about 3 years...
