Re: The stat I wish I didn’t have to write and one you most definitely don’t want to read.
Second, Tom is the Interim AD, and while he is likely (and should be) making the decision weather to offer a new contract or open the job to new candidates, he's likely has to get support/buy-in of the Chief Operating Officer (Sal Cintorio) and the President. I don't know what Tom is thinking or wh...

Re: The stat I wish I didn’t have to write and one you most definitely don’t want to read.
Binghamton ended their season yesterday and the reports are they are firing Tommy Dempsey. That's another job opening that would have a similar candidate list as Central. And now they get a head start. Every day there's nothing coming out of Davidson Hall they fall further behind. Add Albany to the...

Re: The stat I wish I didn’t have to write and one you most definitely don’t want to read.
if DM really wants out I would expect that he will say something soon. Like a Twitter post stating thanks to Central but its time to move on. Not sure if it comes to play here, but his contract is technically in place until 4/14. If he did that, would that be considered a resignation, thus forfeiti...

Re: The stat I wish I didn’t have to write and one you most definitely don’t want to read.
It’s ridiculous and why I’m starting to think nothing will be done. Expected to hear something on Twitter by now. Maybe Monday? At what point does the waiting affect the recruiting process. We have at least one spot to fill no? God, I used to know all this crap. 104 losses has deflated me on this p...

Re: 2/25 & 26 Wagner @ CCSU
My guess is that he's ready to move on.
He's likely not a pro, so maybe he's just ready to begin his career. Or get a master's degree somewhere else. Or get back to his native Cameroon.

Re: The stat I wish I didn’t have to write and one you most definitely don’t want to read.
Is it a reasonable expectation that they could prefer to keep Marshall until they identify a permanent Athletic Director? No, I don't think that is reasonable. If you have an acting AD then he should do the job of AD until told otherwise by his superiors, and there isn't anyway one can justify rehi...

Re: The stat I wish I didn’t have to write and one you most definitely don’t want to read.
Just speculation is all but imho, I see no way that he can be considered a rehire candidate, covid or not, 39 and 105 in five seasons is simply not getting it done. Is it a reasonable expectation that they could prefer to keep Marshall until they identify a permanent Athletic Director? I honestly h...

Re: The stat I wish I didn’t have to write and one you most definitely don’t want to read.
Central is really an opportunity for any D1 assistant coach who has confidence in his abilities. Again, with the caveat that Central will be in the market for a new coach, I hope they don't limit their search to D1 assistants. There's at least one D2 head coach out there who, I believe, would be an...

Re: 2/20 @ LIU
Why would anyone think that completely losing self control and awareness of the game situation is going to help the team? As Yogi Berra said, its deja-vu all over again. All I can say is it's been a tough 12 months for the coaching staff and the players alike. There is probably a ton of frustration...

Re: 2/20 @ LIU
I wasn't home so I saw none of this game. Can someone give me the cliffsnotes? Jamir Reed got ejected for kicking a chair? This game reminded me of when we were competitive in the NEC yet still found ways to lose. Bottom line, we still don’t know how to win a basketball game. Missed key opportuniti...

Re: The stat I wish I didn’t have to write and one you most definitely don’t want to read.
FWIW, Fordham fired their MBB coach a couple of weeks ago, and today removed the "interim" tag of Eddie Kull, who is now the permanent AD. Kull, who's held the interim tag since April 2020, who will now lead a nationwide search for a new coach. I have no idea if this is what Central will do, but her...
