Back to reality!
Why do I get the feeling that this is going to be a double digit loss?

Cause DM has no idea how to coach them through this zone. Completely out of sorts, not moving the ball, no driving, not pressing, not using the short corner. He’s CLUELESS!!!!

Coleman, Ayangma, and Udofia have both been MIA.

4-3's latest blog post took the proper and measured public tone on the coaching situation - but let's be honest here, the DM tenure should be over on March 1. There has been zero evidence, or even a gut feeling, things have improved this season. No reason to predict things will improve next season.

After the last game, CCSU is on the hook for about $140k to DM. The school needs to write the check and move on, period. Lame duck status to save a few bucks will put us even further behind our peers. A contract extension to help keep players in the fold, or for recruiting purposes, is flat out insane after what we've been through the last 4 seasons.

I'm sure the interim status of the AD and our woeful budgetary situation will factor into a final decision in some way - but the program needs to move on. The transfer exodus won't be any worse than what happened after last season. I still think this is a very desirable job for a HC and a place were you can win quickly - in 2 years or so.

Let's have some nice words for DM's efforts and thank him for his time here and then part ways. The sooner we announce a vacancy and open up a National coaching search, the better we will be.

Yes, eating the last year of DM's contract would be the way to go. I don't know if that is feasible given the financial situation.
There is talent here. This is a great situation for a new coach. It is like standing on the South Pole, no matter which direction you choose to travel you have to move upward on the globe.

If a new coach comes in and wins 10 games there will be a ticker tape parade down Stanley Street.
