12/22 at Binghamton

Central adds another non-conference game to the schedule. Blue Devils will head to Binghamton on Tuesday.

My understanding is these away non-conference games (Hartford, Binghamton) will be returns to Detrick in 2021-22. We should have a great home schedule next season.

I love what Tom has been able to do considering the COVID situation. Getting games vs. UConn, Hartford, Army, Binghamton are great opponents. Maine and Fordham were cancelled, but scheduled.

Agreed J.J. Tom and the entire staff has done a great job all things considered. Having said that, I feel the entire university staff should receive kudos for navigating everything through these crazy times.

The good news? They are 0-5.

The bad news? I can't find any type of video link at all to watch this game...ugh.

I pretty confident that the game will be streamed on ESPN3, just like the Hartford game. Looking at the Bearcats schedule, all of their home games so far have been on ESPN3. My guess is they just haven't updated the webpage or provided any links yet.

America East teams produce their own broadcasts for most home games, just like the NEC does. The difference is the NEC uses its own distribution (NEC Front Row), whereas America East distributes their games in partnership with ESPN3.

Just checked, it’s not on espn+ yet but it only goes up to 3:30 on Tuesday so hopefully by tomorrow...

Binghamton is 0-5 with several close losses and no blowouts. Losses to Marist (twice), Stonybrook (twice), and Youngstown State. Two of the losses were in OT, and the biggest loss was 14 to Youngstown State.
It should be a winnable game for Central, but then I am sure that Binghamton thinks the same.

Hope to watch it. All their games have been on ESPN3 so it seems reasonable enough that this will too.

I'm hearing this game is now cancelled, but don't worry, not it is not coming from CCSU. I do think it has to do with COVID testing issues, but the Central team and staff are healthy!

While I'm disappointed this game won't get played (it was a chance to grab a win vs my wife's alma mater), we just have to expect these things will continue to happen throughout the season.

That’s exactly what Tom said during that webinar he had a while ago JJ. Games will be added and dropped as conditions dictate.

I suspect we’ll see at least one more non conference game soon.
