Wow! Simply embarrassing. Basically solidifies yet another year with out an NEC tournament bid and that is unacceptable.

Only 4 teams make the NEC playoffs this year so rest easy they were long eliminated.

That doesn't matter. Even with the usual top eight in the tournament, Central was not going. But cheer up! We have an excellent shot at 9th place. I call that a moral victory

Given that they brought back almost their entire rotation from last year and added 2 high impact junior college transfers, I thought they'd improve quite a bit.

As of now they are #335 at Kenpom. They finished #347 last season. They've improved but, only slightly.

Adding to the problem is- even if they return everyone for next season, so can every other team given that this is a "free year" for all players. So I wouldn't expect them to improve much in 2021-22 unless they get some major impact transfers and/or more than a few NEC teams lose significant pieces.

No idea, other than the fact that the NET for some reason likes the NEC. Every NEC team is rated higher in the NET than they are at Kenpom.

Central is still the worst rated NEC team in the NET.
