Based on the discussions about recruiting Connecticut high school players, I went back to the CCSU record book and this is what I came up with:

Howie Dickenman
1999-00: Rick Mickens (Newington)
1998-99: Rick Mickens (Newington)

Mark Adams
1994-95: Mike Donnely (St. Josephs-Trumbull)

Mike Brown
1988-89: Bryan Heron (Sacred Heart-Waterbury)

Bill Detrick
1987-88: Tyrone Canino (Bulkley-Hartford)

I'm less familiar with the first decade, so I'm not sure if I missing anyone. And while Mickens was the best in-state player of the Dickenman era, I overlooked Heron and Canino from earlier D-I years.
