So sounds like this is a no go this season but just heard the governor just upped the outdoor capacity to 200 and said more by March. Game on????

CCSU Announces Spring Sports Fan Attendance Policy
https://ccsubluedevils.com/general/2020 ... 0222fk5z29The Central Connecticut State Department of Athletics has extended its prohibition on fans during the spring season. It is a continuation of the decision to not allow fans during the winter sports season, which included men's and women's basketball and women's swimming & diving. Attendance has been limited to teams and essential personnel during this time.
The department will continue to monitor conditions during the spring and update the policy should conditions change. Announcements regarding fan attendance will be made through CCSU Athletics social media channels and website (CCSUBlueDevils.com).
CCSU will provide online streaming options for friends, family and fans to follow the Blue Devils during the spring. Games will be made available to watch free of charge through NEC Front Row and the NEC On the Run app, along with our official CCSU Athletics Facebook page. Updates on individual team broadcast schedules will be provided as they are available on CCSU Blue Devils social media pages and CCSUBlueDevils.com.
Re: Fans in the Stands
Such BS. It’s outside for God sakes.
Re: Fans in the Stands
Interesting that this was a recent update to the policy. Assuming people are ticked off?
THE POLICY INCLUDES NO TAILGATING IN THE PARKING LOTS DURING CCSU HOME GAMES.

Re: Fans in the Stands
People getting ornery online at the men’s soccer game as the feed isn’t working and there is no announcer.
Suggestion: let fans in. Governor already said outside is ok or at least provide the NEC front row quality of broadcast with an announcer. I’m sure someone will donate their time to give some perspective of what’s going on on the field.

Maintain space and wear a mask. There should be no problem, especially for outdoor venues.

Hoping this has some weight for the NEC or at least ccsu. Time for some baseball
