2021 Season
Re: 2021 Season
FDU coach letting his pitcher hang out to dry. 4 homers and an 8-0 lead in the third.
Re: 2021 Season
We’re up a couple of touchdowns. Think this is safe 21-7.

I agree, it is not over until its over, or the fat lady sings.
It also denies some of the freshman/sophomores on both teams a chance to get some playing time and game experience.
Let' em play!

Nice weekend sweep of the Mount.
CCSU starting to get some Twitter heat for not letting fans to outdoor baseball games. Couldn’t agree more and with the state opening up and Central not gets me worried about football. It’s time already. I’ve never seen more than 100 fans at a baseball game. Let’s go...

Great idea. Now that the State is opening up, a chance to see a game live in a fabulous ballpark. Always nice to have CCSU play at this venue yet again.
However, this will be a challenging weekend for Blue Devils, as this is in the middle of a 3-game NEC series at Sacred Heart.
Fri. 5/7; 3 pm - at Sacred Heart (@ Fairfield)
Sat. 5/8; 1 pm - vs. Sacred Heart (@ Hartford)
Sun. 5/9; 1 pm - at Sacred Heart (@ Fairfield)
I wonder if they try to start the Friday game earlier. Central will likely bus down and back to Fairfield on Friday so they can stay in New Britain that night. A short trip to Hartford and back for a matinee game on Saturday. Then another bus trip down and back to Fairfield on Sunday.
It is only an hour or so down to Fairfield, but they'll be on the bus a few times more than usual for a normal weekend series.
